Saturday, November 17, 2012:? Back in October, Samsung had announced Android 4.1 Jelly Bean upgrade for its Galaxy S II but has not confirmed the actual availability date for the update. However, the Jelly Bean update has been leaked and if you cannot wait for the official release then you can look out at XDA forum to install Jelly Bean on your Galaxy S II.

Google's Project Butter powered Jelly Bean enhances user interface and brings in an integrated voice recognition engine. Users will also get new notifications bar, two home screen modes and a re-organised settings menu. Rumours have it that the S II will also get Galaxy Note like features.

Previously, we reported that the S III will receive cool features that are available on the latest Galaxy Note II phablet. The S III will soon get MultiView feature, along with a customisable notification panel, the continuous input keyboard, a new gallery application and Smart Rotation. All these features are available on the Note II phablet but Galaxy S III users will also get to enjoy them soon.

Other devices to receive Android Jelly Bean upgrade from Samsung include GALAXY Tab 2 7.0 and 10.1, GALAXY Note 10.1, GALAXY SII, GALAXY Note, GALAXY Tab 7.0 Plus, GALAXY S Advance, GALAXY SII LTE, GALAXY Music, GALAXY Chat, GALAXY Ace 2, GALAXY Beam, GALAXY Ace Plus, GALAXY mini II and GALAXY S DUOS.
